Christmas Eve! December 24, 2013

It's almost 11:00 p.m. and I am following the NORAD Santa Tracker. He was last seen in Des Moines, Iowa, and is headed to Lawrence, Kansas. I am estimating that Santa will be here on the West coast around midnight or possibly closer to 1:00 a.m. If you have never tracked Santa before on Christmas Eve, I encourage it. We attended a lovely Christmas Eve service this evening at my church: Multnomah Presbyterian Church in Portland. Robert (Chief Grey Wolf) played his 12-string guitar in the orchestra. All of the choir members and musicians did a fantastic job. Ray McKean, the Music Director, is incredibly talented and gets a lot of people involved. Our pastor, The Rev. Dr. John Dilworth gave an excellent message as well: "Jesus Remembered".
